Best socks that aren't slub socks?
I'm interested in getting some high quality socks in the near future, but don't want to only go with thick joints like what Rototo and a bunch of other recommended brands go for generally. I usually go with JWA x Uniqlo but they're getting worse and worse by the year.

I wear a lot of the RoToTo Hikertrash or the Daily socks. Hikertrash are comparable to darn tough in terms of thickness, but the Daily socks are thinner. The Lady White Co socks are comparable to the RoToTo daily socks (tbh I can’t tell which is which). SOS from Texas has the thinnest but they don’t last. American Trench are thicker than the Daily and LWC socks but they don’t hold up as well either.

i have a handfull of AT supermerino that, aside from pilling almost immediately, have been holding up well. they're also so soft that i've been spending 20-30% of my days touching my feet
Yea mine are just the regular cotton ones and they have gotten thin/crunchy in a way other socks haven’t.
I know Darn Tough has some thinner options and tbh they’re worth the hype. I put a ton of work on their cushioned boot socks, always washed/dryed, been exposed to concrete/diesel/oil/hydraulic fluid. V tough.
I’ve had nightmares about crunchy socks
