Any way to access ratos macros without installing ratos?
Hey everyone. I do not own a pi and I am very happy with my current hardware. As RatOs is unfortunately not available for PC Hardware, I was wondering if there is a way to access the macros that come with ratos.
I can't find anything on the github.

All the macros are either dependent on RatOS macro variables (which partly get set by includes that need to follow a specific order) or assumptions about the filesystem and OS users.
So in short: not without a whole bunch of hassle, if your time isn't free, it's much much cheaper to buy a pi 😄
you can try and include the macros.cfg (and the printer specific macros.cfg) and see what happens. Most things should have defaults but they might not match your hardware / configuration.
shell macro's obviously won't work without a matching filesystem
Here's a list of just the user facing ones: https://os.ratrig.com/docs/configuration/macros
Configuring RatOS Macros | RatOS
RatOS comes with a bunch of flexible predefined macro's that can be customized via variables and macro hooks.

Thank you, I found what I needed 🙂
I ran RatOS in The past but my Pi 2b was a bit too weak once i tried to go for a speedboat. So I switched to an old intel NUC I already had.
It's not (yet) in the compatibility list, but did you test RatOs on the BTT Pi 1.2 yet?
It's "just" a CB1 so the CB1 image should work

i'll give that I try once my 3rd printer needs a brain 🙂 It'll run on a pico board but that shouldn't be a big issue 🙂
I tested it and it works fine
