Default RatOS macros

It lists all the macros. I'm not sure but shouldn't I have a RatOS/macros directory where those macros live?
Reason I started looking into this is that I seem to be missing the _ON_LAYER_CHANGE macro which gives errors unless I comment it out under custom gcode commands in my printer setup in the slicer . Now I think I am missing them all (because macros dir is missing).
I update regularly, I am on v2.0.2-36-g230929e3-dirty. its dirty because I added my own extruder config file, still need to move that out of the tree.
Any ideas? Should I have that, or is it custom install?
