Follower alerts, raid alerts and sub alerts not working
The other day, my event based alerts were not working. I had made new layers to make a "stream starting" and "stream ending" screens but I don't think this should have anything to do with the alerts not working.

No it shouldn’t. Sometimes the app will lose access to your Twitch account and cause alerts not to work. To restore access, sign out of Overlay Expert and sign back in with Twitch.
You can also test your alerts when live using the test chat commands (https://discord.com/channels/183961840928292865/1023690746555011143) or by dispatching events in Stream preview mode in the Builder.
Let us know if your alerts still don’t work after trying the above.
