anyone who has midjourney, should i buy the basic plan or is it not worth it?, and do you have unlimited generations?

I bought Basic five days ago and I am totally hooked. A deeeeep rabbit hole that is so much fun!
After two days I upgraded to the $30 plan, as the ~200 generations go by quickly when you get hooked like me :D
Midjourney is not like the free or cheap AIs you find out there, it is top notch.
The $10 plan offers 3.5 fast GPU hours, which is around 200 generations depending on your usage.
The $30 plan offers 15 fast GPU hours and unlimited relaxed hours. In relaxed mode, the generations take a bit longer.
If you have beefy hardware and a top-tier GPU, you can also install Stable Diffusion locally, which gives you even more options. It's not easy to install though, you should be able to set up Linux and do some command line and Python stuff.

do you do content creation of some sort?
Hmm, I haven't done a lot with SD yet. But I've seen incredible examples.. this requires a lot of tinkering tho with verious settings and training-models. Check out #stablediffusion on Insta, to see whats possible. Don't get too distracted by the huge amount of aihotties.. xD
Do you want to create something specific? Comicstyle, Photorealistic...?
I do a lot of creative stuff. Photography, Guitarrecordings, Ableton, started with AI Creations (see https://discord.com/channels/820889004055855144/1049263519255777301). I have done most of my creations because I personaly enjoy being creative and to show my stuff other people.. not a content-creator per definition I guess. But currently looking for new ways and niches.
photorealistic mostly
I dont have it, but I found other AI who make a similar work and this made me giving up purchasing midjourney. I think u should only do it if u use it to earn money/work.
