Belt rides on flanges of idlers
My belts move so far up during movement that they ride on the flange of the idler bearings
What causes this and how do I correct it?

move that motor pulley down..it should be in line with the idlers

Sorry for the late reply. I'm using the FFFM and damper mod, I was under the impression that it was already spaced correctly when using the 6mm spacer from the kit.
you can see in the pics that it is not lined up with the idlers

I will have to take the machine apart anyway because of a loose bolt indication on my resonance resuslts, so will have a closer look at the idler/motor pulley hights at the same time then.
