Sony Alpha 7 III with elgato camlink pro

Hello, After many months of already having the available tech and not doing anything about it, I finally started setting stuff up. It's my first non-webcam setup and the first time using a capture card. I am currently delving into all the options inside the camera itself, so will ask about that later on when I looked at it fully. Regarding the capture card, should I change any of these settings? Especially the middle page (Video standard) looks like something that could improve quality if changed, but maybe I am wrong? There are many PAL options, many NTSC options and many SECAM options.

those shouldn't be messed with unless trying to fix some niche issues if not having issues, don't touch it

Gotcha, I generally follow this too but I thought I could maybe have a less compressed video depending on the decoder In a few days I will post here the settings (ISO, shutter speed, etc) so that you all can check if they look okay. I can also provide short videos to see if everything looks properly I am set on 4k30 over 1080p60, though

the cam link pro does not compress your video, so nothing you do in there will make it more or less compressed

True, now that you said it, it's the camera that decides that, oops woahLUL

well the camera is also sending an uncompressed HDMI signal it'd be your OBS recording/streaming settings that decide it
