How do I know which monitor to buy for a computer?

I don’t know anything or much about computers.
Attached is a screenshot of a computer I’d like to buy. Is there a specific type of monitor I need?

Depends what you're using the PC for; There are monitors specific for photo/video editing, they usually have better color accuracy and slower refresh rates amongst other things specific to help with editing. Or if it's for gaming then you might get a monitor with less color accuracy and faster refresh rates. I wouldn't really go anywhere lower then 27" in size, I prefer 32" but you'll end up paying around $100-$200 more and also depend on desk size and stuff like that The rx580 could likely handle a 1440p@60hz monitor but to be safe I'd go with a 1080p@60hz monitor, but again, this depends on if you're using it for editing or gaming A couple of examples; Editing Monitor: Dell UltraSharp U2720Q https://www.amazon.com.au/UltraSharp-U2720Q-Backlit-Monitor-7GZ651/dp/B086H26XWV- ~$450 Gaming Monitor: LG 27GL850-B https://www.amazon.com.au/LG-27GL850-B-Ultragear-Compatible-Monitor/dp/B07TD94TQF - ~$400
