Hello!
We started playing around with Vue Storefront (based on Shopify). We use the default project data for the moment. Only, we notice that on the demo version proposed by you or the version that can be installed locally, we do not know how to access the view of a product. Error: this page could not be found. Why ?
I'm afraid it will do it to me when I use my real data π
Same error in your demo: https://shopify-pwa.aureatelabs.com/
Thank you

Hey there! Unfortunately the community who was in charge of this intergration is no longer supporting it π¦
You can check it's open source code maybe that would help https://github.com/vuestorefront/shopify

Hi @skirianov
I do not understand everything.
We installed storefront thanks to the documentation (https://docs.vuestorefront.io/v2/getting-started/installation.html)
We chose the Shopify integration. And the theme installed automatically.
Everything works fine except the view of a product. We use the default (demo) data.
So I don't understand why it doesn't work since it's a classic installation, without touching anything.
If it doesn't work with Shopify, thanks to this (https://docs.vuestorefront.io/shopify/),
how am i supposed to make it work?
I showed the demo because it's the same theme that was installed by default for me and it doesn't work locally
And I think it should work, since it's a starter
Thank you

I installed the default theme. So I don't understand why you say it's not supported.
I've the same problem

Except I use demo data, I have not yet connected my store
Most probably Shopify has changed their APIs and it stopped working π¦ That project is not maintained currently.
Maybe you could take a look in the underlying Composables for product fetching and debug it
What you say is that integrating Vue Storefront with Shopify is no longer functional/maintened?
@ottomapips Shopify is an integration which was built and maintained by an eternal agency - not Vue Storefront. We have limited control over it. As of today, the available version is not updated to our latest technology. So, technically, yes, it isnβt fully functional. There are plans to build a new one based on our new architecture, but no timeline - and it would, again, be achieved by an external agency. Hope this helps answer your question π
Ok, I understand. Your documentation should be updated. Because it clearly indicates that the Shopify integration is maintained in an open source way by VSF. This is what causes all this misunderstanding for me.
What open source extension do you maintain that is up to date for e-commerce integration? Magento?
Magento is maintained in-house and it's available for the newest Architecture π
Thank you @skirianov
You should remove the integration with Shopify from your services. It is marked everywhere that the integration is compatible and maintained by VSF but it is not. It made us waste precious time.
See you soon
Thank you, we will update accordignly and sorry for your time wasted π¦
