SVG Animation Layer / Priority kind of question..,

Hi all, got a quick and simple question, Why is it that, when I re-organize the entire (.HTML) code that contains the SVG Animation, that, certain paths are overlapping / being brought to the front as shown..? Eeh Edit: The original .html is just a lot of <paths> like this one for example:
<path class="" d="m209.56 226.95 33.258 33.258" fill="var(--outerwiresFill)" marker-end="" marker-mid="" marker-start="" stroke="var(--outerwiresStroke)" stroke-width="8"/>
<path class="" d="m209.56 226.95 33.258 33.258" fill="var(--outerwiresFill)" marker-end="" marker-mid="" marker-start="" stroke="var(--outerwiresStroke)" stroke-width="8"/>
...it does also have some <rect class> / etc.. but I won't post them here just cos I don't wanna spam the chat-log. Anyway, My question is, do some SVG Paths have to be in a certain order? or..?; See image for more details (Might need to zoom in!) I can provide the codepen.io example(s) if-need-be. Thanks
