Best plain white t-shirts? & Uniqlo Sizing?
Hey,
i'm looking to get basic t-Shirts and would like to hear an opinion or two.
I have been looking through the recommended brands, and filtered it down to those:
- Abercrombie and Fitch - Essential Tee,
- Arket - Midweight T-Shirt
- Uniqlo - Supima Cotton, U, Airism Cotton,
My only concern with Uniqlo would be the sizing. I've been reading a lot about them being on the small end.
I'm 6'4 and muscular (A little over 200lbs at a little over 10% bodyfat) so more often than not, I have clothes being tight at the sleeves and around my chest/back, but loose around my waist. Would Uniqlo even be an option?
And if it is, which line would you recommend? Supima Cotton, U, Airism Cotton?

airism cotton is oversized cut
or could size up. not sure if the fit is different between supima/u but it's thinner/thicker
I feel like the U cut is a little boxier but maybe I’m being tricked by the heavier weight
Does r/MFA have an aversion to Cuts? You could look on the cuts marketplace and find a cheap like new/used shirt to see if you like them. They truly are buttery soft and look great in my opinion.
6'4" might be tough for a Uniqlo U, I doubt they are long enough
There's a site just tall. They have a solid size guide. You can also get the waist taken in on a shirt by a few inches for pretty cheap.
