I need help with getting Elder Scrolls Online to work on the Steam Deck/Heroic Game Launcher[Solved]
I'm trying to play the Elder Scrolls Online that just became free today by using heroic game launcher but when i press play it just stops and shows the play option again

I had the same issue with fallout new vegas but i had someone help me get it running In the r/steamdeck discord server but they won't help me with this game because they think its not good

How would i copy and paste the logs to discord?
Especially if i don't have it on my steam deck
Uploading it to https://paste.debian.net/ & manually copying over the link should work
Or you could just open the Web version of Discord, that's probably just as easy

I tried setup.exe before and it worked
but I couldn't launch the launcher
Wonder if you can tell it where to install to via a start parameter or something

I'd recommend that you don't look at the
game_overrides in https://heroic.legendary.gl/v1/version.json then
Seems like you can do all kinds of fun automation stuff with this thing; running it with /? gives quite some info

Okay ill try it once i get power
I tried assigning it by doing
run/media but it doesn't run the game now but instead says PLAYING (STOP)■ and then just goes back to PLAY NOW >

This is what i done so far ever since i followed the other thread and it hasn't seemed to work so far unless i missed a step
Im going to keep this thread open in case others want to ask their questions, only way it will close is if mods close it.
