Divinity: Original Sins II launch problems
I own the game on GOG. I can install it correctly but when I try to start it it asks me to install Windows .NET Core. I managed to do that but nothing changed. Keep asking to download and install it.

Bit late but you need to set the .exe in the game settings:
From Reddit:
Probably wouldn't have figured it out by myself, thank you kind stranger 😄
Edit: Just a quick addition for everyone who might read this in the future: There are actually two different EoCApp.exe files (for the classic and the definitive edition, so you can choose which version you want to have launched).
Here are the file paths:
Classic: Divinity - Original Sin 2\Classic\EoCApp.exe
DE: Divinity - Original Sin 2\DefEd\bin\EoCApp.exe

Well, I already uninstall it but maybe in the future I'm gonna remember this. Unfortunately this is the case with a lot of games. It requires skills that I don't have and I lose enthusiasm to use the app.
