This is the text that says all games that can work in Heroic Game Launcher are no longer working after the update:

Either downgrade to 2.8 or enable GameMode in the game settings
The text you've highlighted tells you that Save Sync isn't supported for those games

you're looking at 2 games that just don't support save syncing on EGS

is this about saves? seems to be the issue commandmc is talking about (the wrapper bug in 2.9)
downgrading depends on how you installed heroic
but like commandmc suggested, you can enable game mode in your game settings
