Game installed on drive that is no longer plugged in - cannot remove game

I had a bunch of games installed on an external drive which doesn't exist anymore. Now the games are listed as 'game not available' and in the install details it shows an install path that doesn't exist anymore. If I try to uninstall the game so that I can reinstall it, it disappears for a few seconds before reappearing in the same state. I've tried the move installation option, that fails and the game reverts to its previous state. I've tried to change the install path, that fails and the game reverts to its previous state. I can't seem to do anything with it. I figured if I change the install path to somewhere else (that does exist) and then tell it to verify it's files, it would reinstall, but I can't get it to change the install path through the UI, and can't find a config file where that path is recorded

Have fixed. There is a file here: ~/.config/heroic/legendaryConfig/legendary/installed.json that contains the directory that epic store games are installed to. manually modified the install path for the game to the directory where I want the game installed to, then selected verify/repair on the game and it reinstalled it ok
