Downgrade to 2.8, a 2.9.1 release will fix this soon™️

Hi guys - I'm getting the same error for a different game. How do i downgrade releases? Thanks!

The 2.8 downloads are available here: https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/releases/tag/v2.8.0 If that version prompts you for an update, of course don't do it

I got an issue with heroic when selecting to not to check updates at startup the client still searches for updates at startup, is very annoying

Thank you! 🙂 Oh the hotfix that came out a few hours ago actually fixed this for me so no need to downgrade, thanks anyway though folks.
