Problems running WRC9 (Amazon Games)
This problem comes frome here:

After installing the game with Heroic the game don't start showing a crash-report popup:
Running with system-installed wine without Heroic works perfectly.

Hi, was able to run it by changing windows mode from "windows 10 to windows 7" in winecfg:

In heroic game option, click "winecfg" (in desktops mode). Then in "applications" tab click "add application" then add wrc9.exe (/home/Steam/games/...) And select windows 7
For me i have to manually select thé exe in order to launch thé game ... Which means no game mode for now..
On heroic v2.9.1
Also performances are not that good. If you have any settigns to share i sure would be interested 🙂

it's pretty great for me
another way to get the game running (which I prefer) is the following:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES=xinput1_3=n
winetricks -q vcrun2019
I have informed the proton devs that setting xinput to native,bulitin might help many games (such as this one)
but who knows if they are going to set that as the default
it could cause many regressions
maybe just re enable dxvk

Ok thanks for thé suggestions. I'll try it but i'm pretty New to all this stuff so will have to dig in 🙂 Can you confirm that for now you are unable to run it directly from Steam deck gaming mode and have to launch ot through destjop mode ( while choosing exe AT every launch ?l)
(i didnt realize that maybe you dont use Steam deck. Performance was related tovthis specific hardware)
