Galactic civilizations 3

Hi, I'm trying to get Galactic Civilizations 3 running using Heroic. A bunch of games work out the box for me, but not this one. I'm using Heroic 2.9.1 and Wine-lutris-GE-Proton8-12 on Linux Mint. When the game starts up I just get a white full screen and the graphic mouse pointer, then nothing, then the game closes. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you

Go like this in it:

- Default prefix->Install a dll or component->d3dcompiler43

You might need d3dxd3dx additionally as well

d3dcompiler didn't work, but then when I added d3dx that worked

I figured out from your instructions that you must have looked at the log and saw the d3dx errors and suggested I installed those runtimes. I didn't realize that installing runtimes seperately was a thing. There were a few different d3dx available (for different versions of DX) so I went with d3dx11 since that was what was in the log. I think there was a 42 and 43, and I just went ahead and installed both.
