Jtangentially: is there any other way to increase my spring force? after feeling the damper make it solid as a rock I know the motor can cause more resistance, but I have my spring force at max and it is not very strong

WWhen spring gain increases, damping also needs to increase to keep it from shaking to death. That (spring strength proportional damping) parameter does that automatically.

WAlso there is a RHINO-defaults.vpconf file in the configurator directory, that has the updated "factory" settings for the Rhino.

JI had the values in relative to the endstop. But now that I've solved that issue I'm getting oscilation when I hit the endstops, any tips on easing that? lower spring frequency?

LHello, is it possible to get the Rhino to treat the TM hornet grip trimmer switch as a HAT switch instead of buttons?

LAnyone have any thoughts on how I can get rid of this play in the pitch axis where the grip (or extension) attaches to the base? It seems as though the mating face on the base has a hump on it, but when I check it with a straight edge it seems fine. Neither the grip nor extension have this play when I connect them to my Virpil base. Oh and if I turn the extension 90° (can’t with the grip because of the rigid connector) the play is still in the y-axis.
AIf you unscrew the square ring around the base of the leather, you can lift it up and check the tightness on the bolts on the alu stem
LThanks, I’ll check it, but it seems like the movement occurs above that. The connection between the aluminum stem and mounting adapter feels solid. But, maybe I just can’t create enough leverage without the stick attached.
LI guess it was that joint after all! Seems to be much better now (after tightening the screws) but I took the opportunity to print some throw limiters while the dust boot is off so I’ll test properly when they’re done.
LSadly I damaged my TM Hornet grip in the process of taking it off and putting it back on so many times troubleshooting. I broke the center alignment post of the DIN connector and bent all the pins 
. Managed to straighten them back up and everything seems to be working fine again. Is that a standard part I can get somewhere to be proactive in case it fails in the future?

KIt's a standard part called "DIN 5P". Some folks modify old keyboard DIN 6P connectors to work, but I just buy the real thing. You can find them on digikey in many forms. Here is one https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/cui-devices/MD-50/96914

NI dont know if I know the answer, but your screenshot only tells half the story... also need to see the Effects tab (I highly doubt you have all your settings maxed). The effect settings in "Effects" and the sliders in "Settings" work together (or, rather, they limit eachother)
POnly the sprint box is checked on effects, I have never touched that page prior
Aif you want to get rid of springiness, try playing with damper settings in effects
RTurn damper up to 20-30 as a start. That will go away.
RI run 65 spring and 35 damper.
Sgot a thrustmaster stick and finall got it installed... but stick doesn't show up in windows game controllers list or DCS

Supdate: uninstalled a bunch of drivers, uninstalled hidhide (but it wasn't active), restarted computer
Sunclear which one did the trick but it shows up now!
