Sound Differences between hiney and galatea PCBs
So I know that the Apollo PCB is known for having a weaker sound since it's hotswap, but is there a difference between a hiney h87 and a Galatea solder pcbs?

galatea is capable with plateless kit
hiney is daughterboard
Well, I mean like comparing a standard h87c to a geon galatea, will there be a slight difference in how they sound provided they have the same switches and plate
The sound shouldn't be noticeably different, if at all if you get the same material (FR-4 or CEM) and same thickness (1.6 or 1.2mm) since neither has the flex cuts that the Apollo has
I agree with Hugh. Negligible differences if the thickness and material is the same
