Open Brush into OBS

I want to move my OpenTilt image into OBS and then video the image moving in 3 dimensional rotation. If this is Not possible, maybe Blender has a built in camera for the same purpose. I would appreciate suggestions.

Hi. Can you explain some more? What's your end goal here?

After having created a work in Open Tilt, I want to make a video showing it in its 3d form by rotating it. I would write a poem to accompany the artisitic presentation. In this way, I can appeal to the large audience who do Not access 3D art viewers by providing MP3/4 videos that most computer uses could access.

Ah. OK. So you're using OBS to composite videos and other layers from multiple sources? Which part are you stuck on? I don't know OBS very well. Have you figured out how to export video from Open Brush?

I do Not the means to create and export video within the Open Brush app. As I understand, the camera exists only the Windows OS and I have a Mac.

Ah ok. So you're recording video directly on the Quest (using the built-in OS level capture feature) and then copying to your Mac where you're using OBS? If you know your way around Unity then you could export to Unity and use the Unity SDK/Toolkit to generate a video. This is also possible on the Mac using the plugin scripting build: https://docs.openbrush.app/alternate-and-experimental-builds/runtime-scripting But that's not very well documented yet - so it would be a bit tricky to figure out.

No. What I am trying to do is use OBS, or Blender to load the Open Tilt 3-d image so that I can revolve it on all sides. This is possible with Blender, but I do Not know how to create a video of this 3-D motion within the app, but I might be able to import a camera from another app. OBS will load the OpenTilt image but there is No apparent way to rotate the image 3d. To use the Quest built in camera brings in the problem of manipulating the Tilt Brush artwork in 3-d movement with tight control, however other images within the Tilt app tend to drift in and out. Using the triggers on the hand tracking within the Tilt app to rotate the image and change the size is fine, but is clumsy for creating a final and useable video. Unity is standard and great software, but it means learing a complicated and many faceted software for a single purpose; I do Not know about cost. I checked your link and will try to load the APK onto sidequest to use with the Oculus Quest. Otherwise it is a Windows plugin.

As this is complicated - I'm going to try and find a time when we're both online so we can actually talk properly without long delays. I'm in UTC+1 timezone if that helps

6pm UTC is 7pm UTC + 1 - a bit too late for me - usually I've packed in for the day. It's easier if you just keep an eye open for when I'm online (and not with the "mobile phone" icon) and give me a nudge.

Using Youtube videos I found there is a motion tracking feature built into Blender. So I load the Tilt File into Blender. I can then use rotate functions to create an animation. I need to check out the format of the vidoe that is made yet.... I am No longer exploring Tilt as I have found Now that Gravity Sketch is more user friendly and professional though is does Not have as many options. I have also found my sketches in Tilt disappearing even after I have registered, and saved. I am disappointed to see you expect people to pay the somewhat expensive price of the subscription to SketchFab to make full use of the Tilt app (the free option is Not practical). Thanx for your time.

Your main issue was the difficulty we had being online at the same time so we could help figure out what was causing your issues. We get no money from sketchfab. We are volunteers and are here because we love the software and the community. It's just a shame you didn't give us the chance to correct some of your inaccurate statements opinions before you decided to stomp off in a huff.

What I have stated are factual. I apologize if what I said reflects to you on judgements of character. If you wish to correct any mistaken ideas I have, you may do so. I do Not have the time to go checking ongoing for Discord 1 on 1 talks, nor was I clear on how to do so. If you do Not wish to continure in professional mood, that is up to your discretion. I hope you continue to enjoy and explore as software creators as it is a great art, and science of the future.
