We’re pleased to announce that VIVERSE is hosting an Open Brush art competition this March!

Competition Theme

The theme of the jam is “What makes you feel at home?” Whether a place, loved ones, stories, or something more abstract, all participants should make illustrations that remind them of their Home.

How to Create
Last December, we launched a publishing pipeline directly to VIVERSE from Open Brush. VIVERSE is a web-based platform and the pipeline added multiplayer avatars to the Icosa Gallery web renderer. All participants must submit creations hosted on VIVERSE which have been published with this pipeline.

Competition Details
Submission Deadline - April 3rd 11:59pm Pacific Time
Competition Webpage - https://www.viverse.com/events/open-brush
Eligibility - Projects must be submitted by creators in the eligible countries (see on the competition webpage). If you are not in the eligible countries, you may collaborate with someone from an eligible country.
Submission Requirements - A VIVERSE URL of your hackathon project, a description of how your project addresses the theme of Home, a link to where you have shared you project publicly after publishing.

Prizes
All projects will be evaluated based on Craft, Originality, and Optimization for the Web! The top 3 projects will be judged and awarded, as well as the project that receives the most views on VIVERSE before the end of the competition timeframe.

1st Place - $2500 USD
2nd Place - $1500 USD
3rd Place - $1000 USD
Most Viewed Project - $2500 USD
