Broadway and Sons trousers and casual wear

I've seen these trousers on broadway and sons and I kinda like them. My issue is that they are quiet formal as far as I can tell and I mostly lean casual/my environment is casual as well. Currently the style I'm most drawn to is a rugged kinda ivy. These would be too formal for that right?
