How to wear casual and formal items

I’m Japanese so I can’t wear only casual items. E.g. I can’t wear sweatshirt with denim cuz I think Japanese is looks young more than Europe and America people on average. I think I have to wear mix casual and formal. How do u think?? I’m sorry to my terrible English.

You should wear what you like. I dont think it has anything to do with races. Colors and skin tone is one thing, but formal and casual can be mixed up, or total casual, or 100% formal. It is up to you and the settings you wear the clothes in.

Hi! I’m a foreigner living and working in Japan. Maybe you can look at “Ametora” style. Checkout the outfits by @cityboi_shinn he’s very nice and I think he’s usually at the 鎌倉シャツ store in 新宿. Do you live in a big city like Tokyo?

. 大きいマウンテンパーカーにゆったりコーデュロイ。街で着るならキャップとスニーカーがよく合います。 I really like a combination of brown and green, and then I put a brown tweed jacket and corduroy trousers on a green mountain parka. I mean that matching cap and sneakers with this styling becomes more city ivylook… . . . #ivylook #ivystyle #ametora #tweedjacket #アイビールック #アイビースタイル #アメトラ

I generally find that you want: 1. Match formality intent of all articles of clothing, except 2. If dressing generally formally, you can go bold / less formal on one article of clothing, sometimes. You can of course do whatever you want, but it's much easier to stick to about the same formality level. The more you deviate, the more work you have to do to make it look good.
