Return or no?

I was planning on taking it to a tailor but I didn't notice the Macy's tag. Not sure how old or good this suit really is. Looks fully canvased which is confusing that they would sell it at Macy's even though I got it off eBay. Kind of split on returning it not but I only spent $80 with shipping.

how it fits and styles is going to matter more than these pics. any pics of it on ya? what would you wear it to?

Macys has carried quality in the past and still does from time to time. Does it drape well? Does it look good? If so, tailor it. If you put it on and hate it -- ignoring the tag on the inside! Then don't bother.

give me a minute. Mostly office work, sometimes court. I have nicer suits for court because I work in law.

Now I gotta clean the mirror, big issue is the chest and sleeves are too loose but I know a really good tailor. I just didn't want to spend $100-$150 if it really isn't a quality suit.

i'd return. styling is perfectly middle of the road american sack cut (hsm, shouldn't be surprised). I think you'll end up with something you're not happy with based on your posts. Upper chest feels a size too big all over for the cut, as does the hem . the drape around the quarters feels excessive, even for the style. just from those elements and the sleeves, you're talking a chunk of change
