I want to know if people here are wearing it
it's a very aspirational
Don't own any but they put out some nice designs. Not aware of any other brands doing tie dye and intricate intarsia/patterns with cashmere. Handled it for the first time at TRR and it felt like other upscale cashmere sweaters.
Definitely a very specific niche since the high end cashmere I know isn’t in these kinds of patterns
If I had a lot of money and an expensive weed habit this is all I'd wear
i was at their LA store a little while back and it was a fun place to hang out
very chill SAs
we talked about cashmere for a bit
Been seeing a lot of their stuff on sale lately. How much would I just be paying for the brand name?

Handled it for the first time at TRR and it felt like other upscale cashmere sweaters.like any designer you're paying for the name and for the design is it worth it to you? that's a question only you can answer
I guess im wondering like, designs aside, are there better value options for quality?
Definitely some of there stuffs very unique for looks
nobody is getting "value" at that price point
if you're talking about "value" as in discount cost clothes you should not be looking at $1k+ stuff
I mean on sale I've been seen them sub $500
But idk nothing about cashmere
and vice versa if you're looking at $1k+ stuff there's no real point in trying to eek out marginal difference in the $1k vs the $800 etc etc
you can go to Banana Republic et al and get cashmere stuff under $200
and it's not gonna feel that much different
especially if you know nothing about cashmere
sorry I'm not trying to be a dick it's just the term "value" is wholly personal and loaded and no one can really tell you how you should feel about the clothes you buy
Yea no worries. I'm most just trying to get at like, literal material quality, attention to detail, etc.
(same with "quality" other than basic QA of "do the seams line up where they're supposed to" etc etc)
again I think the "material quality" is not what you think it is
people assume it to be thickness or something
which it's not really
like there's rub rating
aka how much friction can it tolerate
there's a density and weight
there's a hair length (average thread length)
Cuz I know some luxury brands actually make a worse product looking if you're just talking purely objectively
the things I'm describing are objective
but they aren't all aligned - you can have some maxed out but not all
and they'll also have different levels of comfort, and different vectors of comfort
are they soft to the touch vs flexible to wear
fwiw, cashmere is not regarded as the most durable fabric so I think having even a discussion along the actual objective lines is a bit fraught
I c
since it's like asking "which egg is least fragile for my fridge"
it's a material that's soft and warm and often woven pretty thin
Gotcha
Thnx for all the info
