Casual off-white pants
I'm looking for recommendations for casual off-white pants for spring/summer.
Budget: Let's say up to $300, but realistically looking to spend much less, maybe $100-150. Let's say that for $200 and up, it had better be pretty perfect.
Apart from that general guidance, I'm trying to be open-minded. Show me some options, MFA.
I'm not saying I'm aiming for loose, high-waisted cargo pants, just that I'm willing to at least consider things outside my usual comfort zone.
My motivation is to find something to wear with the jacket in the pic, but also something that can be versatile in my wardrobe.
The image I have in my head is sort of lightweight twill or cotton/linen blend, maybe patch pockets, a bit rumpled, a bit loose but not baggy.
Some recent fits from WAYWT that caught my eye and are in the ballpark:

Drawcord Assembly Pant - Stone Linen ...
Our classic Drawcord Assembly Pant. Relaxed, tapered shape and cropped length. Elasticated waistband, drawcords finishing internally through embroidered eyelets. Drawcords are flat 100% cotton tape that matches the shell. Drawcords turned with stitched ends. Angled twin jet pockets at the front. Straight welt pockets a
How casual? Cream jeans? Cream chinos? Either of those work or you want something lighter / flowier? You can also get jean-cut trousers that aren't actual jeans (ie, 5 pocket pants etc) if that's something you're looking for.
Chinos are on the borderline. Might be too formal, might not. 5-pocket (jeans or not) are probably good.
Gramicci G pants have an off white color. https://gramicci.com/collections/mens-pants/products/gramicci-pant?variant=42498169864445
A bit under-budget and there's not a full size run left at this point, but I really like my big Bronson deck pants. High rise and pretty large leg openings, though, if you do end up wanting to try that. https://bronsonshop.com/collections/pants-trousers/products/bronson-40s-original-fabric-usn-hbt-deck
This variant is kinda neat with the drawstring details too. https://bronsonshop.com/collections/pants-trousers/products/experimental-test-sample-protective-cover-pants-white?variant=43836742009048

USN Herringbone Deck Pants
Reproduced the 1940s Deck Work Pants. Made of 10.5 oz cotton herringbone twill(HBT) that is greige fabric, so there are cottonseed particles on the surface. High rise and a straight leg. Soft and comfortable. Garment-wash, and not shrink.

Experimental Test Sample Protective Cover Pants - White
These pants were defined as protective pants for a gunner or boilermaker in the Navy, and it is reasonable to assume that they would also be used as engineer pants in the engine compartment. It is made of strong cotton jungle cloth, adjustable drawstring waist, and pant legs, loose version, high waist straight leg. Garment wash.

Arthuro Jeans - Rinsed Ecru
The Arthuro offers a fuller, more relaxed cut than our standard Arthur jeans, but with the same flattering rise and dedication to quality. Made in Italy from a premium 13oz selvedge denim, these have a slightly wider shape than our Arthur jeans, offering a full cut from hip to foot. Elsewhere, all of the typical jean d

Arthuro Five Pocket Trousers - Washed Beige
Using cotton twill instead of denim, the Arthuro jeans are reimagined as five-pocket trousers. I'm on a similar hunt, and I'm leaning towards Casatlantic
These are all great suggestions. Thanks! I think my favs are the USN Herringbone Deck Pants, and not just because they are cheapest. Unfortunately they are out of stock in my size. 😦

Bryceland's USN Deck Pants Ecru
Description One of our favorite vintage pieces that have found their way into our archive are the WWII USN Deck Jeans. Straight and simple, we have updated the cloth from the 10oz denim of the 40’s USN wardrobe to a Japanese milled pure cotton herringbone in a dusty white for our Deck Pants. Somewhere between a jean an
Only a bit.
It's in hkd so I thought that was around $350 usd
oh lol. I missed the HKD and had a flashback to when I looked at the visvim website.
the black ficus is nice too
huge fan of the BF linen pants
been wearing them a lot this summer
I have a black pair in that style and I've got a wider pair in the natural color in the mail
if you don't mind me asking, what size do you wear?
the sizing information is...weird. I wear a ~32" waist in pants, but if I actually measure my waist like they suggest, it's 36.5".
The inseam they list is weird too...28" is very short, and yet the model is wearing them rolled up.
Wack. Just measure your trousers and then make sure their physical measurements match. If they don't give you real measurements, email them or fuck them
Size M should fit you well. My best fitting pants measure 17" across and the size M is sliiightly too loose on me
Also I'm 6'2 and the inseam is fine on me! But they'll customize the inseam to your preference if you put in an order note
I think the measurement they list is with the cuffs, because it's closer to 30 or 31 uncuffed
Excellent
Slightly less formal than chinos
These pants are pretty popular
^Lululemon ABC pull on pants - 128$ on the site
They have a more dressed up one, but the colour is a bit off what you're looking for

Vintage Wrangler 13mwz
Or potentially just the original usn deck pants if you want to have some fun with a wide leg
This is an interesting option. Any particular search terms?
Lulu pants don't seem to fit me, and I want something less Hi-Tech anyway.

Looks right to me? Im not a huge PRL expert tho I just have a pair of the cream denim
Oh nice, someone bought it already
Don't link 32x30 jeans around me, I'll have to resist the urge to buy them before you can. ;)
yeah, I bought them. 🙂
Figured for ~$30, why not?
I gotta keep track of who is the same size as me...the competition.
dundundun
I used to always get 32x32 but critically examining my choices somewhat recently has made me realize that I'm kind of an idiot, and 32x30 or maybe 31 is more like it. Jeans with 32" inseam end up just getting caught and frayed.
I usually get 32x32 and get them hemmed.
32x30 is a biiiit too long, but not long enough to hem.
Do you get good results getting jeans hemmed? Does it cost more than more formal stuff?
I've never tried. Considered it many times...
Ime it costs more but I’ve gone with the expensive options. I haven’t hemmed worn/faded jeans but all of my raws hemmed are great
Could also go cheap option: raw hem your jeans. Snip snip
