flannel trousers in Ireland
Hi folks,
Wondering would anyone have advice on reasonably priced flannel trousers in dublin? I'm thinking there must be some of the older menswear shops all of our grandads would have shopped in that would have something - I'm after something traditional, pleats and cuffs etc

Would love an answer to the same question. I've had no luck finding anything that's quality with a trad silhouette and off the rack in Dublin. My next pair I'll likely just order from Spier and Mackay and get them altered.
From my time in Dublin I also found the shopping scene very lacklustre. Following for the hope someone else knows as well
Yeah, seem harder to find than I thought they would be. Did have a quick in kevin and howlin today, they had some for about 160/180. Didn't have time for a proper look, so might go back during the week
I never managed to go but someone recommended me 'Indigo & Cloth' in Temple Bar as a cool boutique to check out (has a food cafe as well if I recall correctly)
It's really not great. I've had good luck in charity shops with some stuff
Never been to it, looks interesting
I've been looking at luxire and others. Spier and mackay shipping etc is off-putting
Yeah, customs & fees are outrageous. If you're looking for online and avoiding customs there's https://www.poszetka.com/ (Silhouette is a little narrow), Berg and Berg https://bergbergstore.com/collections/sale-trousers-1, and Cavour https://cavour.co/en/19/men-trousers

Use the filter to sort out the brands, categories & size's you would like to see.
Berg and Berg and Cavour both have sales on
Your grandad probably got them from Marks & Spencer. Still not a bad option, although maybe not at this time of year for flannel.
Cordings in the UK sell trad flannel trouses, and have sales fairly regularly
not sure if they ship but I would assume so
Some lovely options there, thanks
For anyone still looking, marks and spencer was a good suggestion, they've got these in stock now. Going to have a look at the weekend myself. https://www.marksandspencer.com/ie/pure-wool-flannel-suit-trousers/p/clp60598982?extid=sm_fb_ie_pg_allproductsASC_&utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=paidsocial&utm_campaign=23858183242320225&utm_content=asc&utm_custom1=prospecting&utm_custom2=IE&utm_id=23858183242200225&fbclid=IwAR2vfFmpSkwAB1RK5z6jclc0PphU73SaroX8QGAbG0USGkAQf8vlJMpZ8Tg_aem_AeBTSukL8WxEWGhu-1T9pV16zc3P7rtoYOhviS-SMwDjkqUtVcUUp3FqBFNdjZe47CPh70xY9zdyKA7jciwF56-K
