cloud saves on EGS (Heroic) Not syncing from pc EGS cloud saves

I have a steam deck and recently downloaded Heroic and decided to link Epic games since I have a lot of free games there. One game I really want to play is PC Building Simulator 2 to satisfy my itch for building pcs without spending the money irl.
I have played the game on PC for a day or two and made a lot of progress however, when I went to enable cloud saves on heroic, nothing happened. The prompt stated the cloud saves were up to date but the actual game has nothing. There is no save at all. I wondered if anyone could help?
