Pocket square help

How would you select a pocket square to go with this ensemble? White? Pattern? Solid?

White linen.

Yeah In general the default pocket square is white linen. It would look great here as well. As far as choosing other pocket squares goes don't match your tie exactly, but don't be afraid to use an accent color from the tie or you can just straight up compliment the colors.

When in doubt go white, but with that shirt and tie you could do something with a pattern incorporating light blue, cream, and brown

It’s always safest to match your pocket square to your shirt. White shirt, white square

So you want a light blue square with a light blue shirt, and a light pink squate with a light pink shirt? If you get a striped or checked OCBD, you get a striped or checked pocket square? That's gonna be a no for me, dawg.

Why none?

I’d personally prefer to swap the tie out rather than add a pocket square I think a pocket square often detracts from the outfits rather than adds to it The tie feels disjointed to me

Interesting, is it color or pattern or both ? I don’t disagree . May want to do navy instead

The rest of the outfit is very buttoned up and formal. Black oxfords. Jacket buttoned up. Darker grey in a more somber fabric. Solid white dress shirt. And then a yellow floral tie I’d go with black knit

"One bold item" is a classic move. Nice suit, nice shoes, louder tie. It's a solid combo.
