Can't join Cloudflare account which requires 2fa if I have account created by sign-in with Apple

I was invited to an account which requires 2fa but my account was created with Apple. When I accept the invite, it takes me to a screen to setup 2fa and asks me for a password to set it up.

The problem is I don't have an account password so I can't create a 2fa login. I also can't navigate anywhere else to make a password....

But all of this seems moot given the apple account has 2fa?
