Wide Leg Self Tie Pants - How to Style?
I've been on the fence about some variant of these pants for a year or two now, but I have no idea how I'd actually style them. I know N&F gets a lot of heat around here for being cut like 2010 jeans with pockets for babies but I actually think I'd dig these in a greyscale outfit. Main concerns would I suppose be that the same pants in different fabrics would drape wildly differently (personally think heavier, more structured fabrics look better here) and uhh...that the self tie would make them read as too weeby lmao. Anyone have any fits they're particularly proud of with something similar?

I have a similar pair in green, there are also a few people wearing wide black yohji pants/skirts that would be pretty similar
If you look in #waywt for fits from delajoel mewball and billiams you’ll find some dope stuff
These both look great! I especially like the proportions on the one with the jacket/overshirt, something about the wide sleeves is really doing it for me. I'll take a peek at those other fits you suggested, I have some delajoel fits in my head as inspo but I haven't paid that much attention otehrwise because I don't have the mental (or financial) bandwidth to Get Into Yohji - maybe I'll comb through some old fits worrying less about that and more about silhouette in general
