Taylor Stitch
derek guy just put them on in his "best menswear deals" tweet last night:
"Basic, reasonably well-made clothing. I like their wovens (e.g., flannel shirts) better than knits. Good if you like places like J. Crew and Todd Snyder. If you shop here, take advantage of their 20% coupon on first-time orders and the "Common Club" points system."
anyone ever copped? thoughts?

Peak MFA meme brand, for better or worse.
Very inoffensive, versatile basics workwear type beat. Somewhat heavier fabrics and fancier hardware than you’ll find at the mall. If that’s an exciting prospect to you, go for it. On the other hand, if you think that it’s a “step up” in some metaphysical way you might as well buy from J Crew or Levi’s and save a few buck imo
I have a couple dozen pieces from Taylor stitch. A fee from when they were all made in the USA. A few bought new when they moved production to China. And a lot that I’ve bought used on eBay. They have some very basic basics but also a lot of interesting and different things. Especially their outerwear. The leather jackets are made in the USA still and I love mine. Every season they have a few items that are more unique in color, material, or style. For example I just got some short sleeve linen snap button western shirts. I have not seen anyone else make something like this.
I bought a used Yosemite shirt from eBay and I can see myself reaching for it often - nice thick material
I think their outerwear is pretty cool sometimes
I like their cuts on jackets even if they arent doing anything revolutionary
I like taylor stitch
Their trash bag tees are nice
Theyre a good brand if you’re just starting shopping past mall brands
How’s their apres pants?
Is the texture too much?
I own a flannel from them and I bought my dad sweats from there. Well made. sturdy. thicc
Depends on which you get, it’s basically a sweatpants cut and they offer it in a variety of fabrics. I have the black cherry sashiko and it’s not as soft as other sweatpants but it has a more interesting texture, looks nicer
Just got a couple of camp shirts from them. Material feels nice. But their XXL size definitely feels a little tight on me when compared to other shirts I've purchased of the same size.
I did find that the XS flannel I picked up was a slightly tighter fit than I expected.
Although tbh I assumed that was just shrinkage from it being preowned - perhaps their stuff just fits a bit small.
Some of their sizing has been inconsistent over the years but the size charts on the website seem accurate in my small experience. I too have bought some used shirts in sizes that fit me normally that are too tight. But it was my bad for not getting good measurements before buying
Does anyone know how their pants fit? Are they true to size, or vanity sized?
Vanity sized mostly but check their website they provide measurements for all garments
I have a pair of democratic all day pants that are a 34 and closer to a true 36
I was wondering about this because I'm normally a US L but the measurements given for most of their shirts suggest that I would fit in a M.
In my experience I can fit into a size smaller in TS than my standard size in other brands; their measurements are really useful in this regard
In my experience my shirts are more true to size than my pants, ymmv depending on build
