Mylar issues

Imported models as glb into unity for VRC. When in scene mode mylar looks fine when using the mylar unity package to apply the material to the model to make it tapered as it should. As soon as I go into game mode, it balloons up. I reinstalled the OBT and the mylar package after, same issue. Tried to reimport the model and get a broken glb (paper icon) and the model doesnt import anymore. Weird thing is, the mylar brush was fine for some models but not others. All glbs no FBX. First pic Scene View, Pic 2 Game view. Tried applying materials manually to FBX using the script material to fix the mylar taper doesnt work so thats not an option either.

Yeah. We have a bug already logged somewhere for Mylar. It's a tricky one because the shader does naughty things that break export. I'll find the original discussion tomorrow and link to it from here.

You fixed it last time with a Mylar package that had a new script in it and it worked great until now....lol Weird though how some show fine when running it in game, some do not, but everything looks ok in Scene mode. Do you want me to send that mylar unity package back to you to take a look?

Ha! I completely forgot about that workaround. I can find the original hopefully but send it just in case

If you need me to test again let me know. I'm here all day today. @andybak Figured out what was happening! The models that looked different in game mode were ones I joined in blender to help reduce draw calls. Apparently that will break things. Still weird why it looked normal in scene mode. ok this is still a bug. Works a couple of times on play (game) mode while testing, then it the mylar blows up again. Only certain models, not all. Maybe its an export issue? IDK. Completely stumped with this one.

Got an error message with only some re static batching with mylar. If I uncheck it in game it looks as it should. If checked it balloons up. So that fixes the bug. Not sure whats causing it though in code.
