how to upgrade flatpak flathub from 2.8 to 2.9.1-1 on linux?
following all the links/guides only installs 2.8 as the latest. when i tried installing 2.9.1-1 from a non flatpak source i now have 2 different heroic launchers and the one which is up to date has no games downloaded/installed. i do not, repeat, do not have a monthly data plan to download games (for those who would suggest such a workaround). the problem is that the game im playing doesnt launch at all on version 2.8 since the game's update 2 days ago. expected solution: a way to upgrade my current 2.8 heroic launcher to 2.9.1-1 while keeping all games downloaded and installed

why dont you just update the flatpak install... use discover or whatever you used to install it to update it

If you're using the Flatpak version of Heroic (see below on how to find out), please run flatpak update && flatpak install --reinstall com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl. Heroic has a vast number of dependencies, which (for an unknown reason) might get uninstalled when updating either Heroic or them
