Beard oil/conditioner/wax recs

I’ve had a beard for over 15 years at this point but have never really managed it properly, just let it grow out then hacked it down with clippers. My last bit of beard oil is running out so im looking for a replacement. Something that can condition it so it’s easier to shape, as I’m going for something with trim sides and longer at the chin, but full. Probably not in the luxury skincare budget range, but I’ll look at various options. In Canada and live weirdly close to a Sephora.

I've used seven potions when I had a beard (might be UK only) along with a bunch of other random brands. I'm not convinced that spending more money on beard oil has any worth though since they are all just a variation of scented oil to moisturise the hair/skin underneath. People seem to really like the Honest Amish stuff but it was one of the more expensive brands from what I remember The main takeaway for me was to 1. Use some kind of facial wash/beard wash when I showered 2. Actually remembering to put some oil in daily so I didn't get dry skin, like I said I didn't really notice much of a difference with more expensive oils they just smelt better

I like Proraso which is affordable and good quality. I switched to a neutral one later because I didn't like how it mixed with my perfumes.

I don’t wear fragrance so that’s not a concern

I use Prof. Fuzzworthy beard shampoo, pretty much everyday and jojoba oil or coconut oil once the beard is dry I forget the oil lots of times which leads to dry skin

I had seen suggestions of just using cocunut oil, definitely going to be the most cost effective method. If you're fine with the scent

My preference is just plain jojoba oil, I keep a big bottle in the sink and aliquot it into a dropper bottle. It's very mildly scented and I never have any itchy skin, I just make a habit of using it after every time I shower NOW Foods / NOW Solutions is the brand I use but I'm sure it's equivalent to any 100% jojoba oil you can find Coconut oil is very comedogenic so that's something to keep in mind if your skin is acne prone
