is 20 casual shirts too much?

20 shirts is not that crazy, but generally on a closet revamp you're better off buying things a little slower than all at once, cause realistically your tastes may shift/change
You'll have more shirts to rotate so they don't wear out that fast
Depends on what the shirts are. 20 OCBDs is too much, but if it's a variety of short and long sleeve, t shirts and button ups, and fabrics, it can be fine
