Proper Cloth MTM Feedback
Just got back my first shirt from PC. Hoping to tweak and nail the fit so I can have a consistent set of measurements for shirts going forward.
Is there anything on the fit that should be tweaked?
Goal is comfortable but well tailored - I tweaked an in person fitting with some measurements from my best fitting shirts (Drake’s, BB Regent fit). I think for a first shirt, this is very close!

I don't see anything I'd change, you've got a great OCBD fit there
If I was picky I'd get the sleeves shortened very slightly - but I imagine you'll get a bit of shrinkage from washing soon anyway
Given you're going for comfy, back and regular fit look good. Always helpful to have a box pleat

Agreed, think the sleeves are a bit long, but expect some shrinkage on the first wash. According to PC pre-wash is about .3” longer than my request, so I think it will end up in the sweet spot

Also just wondering is this the classic look for an oxford?
Definitely wash, maybe even twice before checking the size with PC stuff
I also find their wash allowances to be sort of unpredictable. Like a linen cotton blend shirt was way too big, they gave a way bigger wash allowance than what was needed
But their linen shirt or cotton shirt didn't have thus issue

This one’s actually a Japanese chambray, but I prefer my shirts in this more classic ocbd style unless I want it to be formal (in that case I’ll go with a French placket and some type of spread collar). Would say that “classic Oxford” look is up for debate on your reference point (Brooks v Press, etc)
For sure. This one is from their washed denim line, so was working under the assumption I’ll experience limited shrinkage. Fingers crossed as I like the outcome!

I would ask for more room in the chest but that's more of a personal thing. It might be just the way it's tucked.
Why is that? It doesn’t feel tight, but comparing to my Drake’s shirt this one looks to be like .25” inches narrower

It could be from it being tucked in but it looks like the tiniest amount of pull.
Ahhh I can see what you mean on the topmost buttoned button. Will give it a wash and try on again after, you may be onto something
Also for myself PC's balance for chest to back didn't work for my body. I ended up with a ton of room in the back but it was too tight in the chest. It was weirdly unbalanced
Good to know! I find mine to be fairly good, particularly as it goes down by back. But will keep an eye on things after a wash. Hard to figure out the impact of some of their options haha
