Waydroid doesnt run? [SOLVED]
Following the installation guide of waydroid from the site, got to the step of installing android and google play, now waydroid just closes upon launch, is this normal?

It's weird your Deck defaulted to X11, it's supposed to default to wayland
change anything etc

Maybe just use wayland until waydroid is set up, because even if you use X11 on desktop mode it'll still work in game mode.
It's because wayland is more privacy strict.

recipe configure waydroid failed with exit code 1
bunch of permission denied errors

After all this is done you'll be able to change back to X11. You should also be able to use waydroid in desktop mode by using Weston instead of Waydroid from the start menu.
