Section 'ratos_homing' is not a valid config section
Hi All,
Just got back to school from summer vacation and went through the update manager and now I'm getting the error "Section 'ratos_homing' is not a valid config section". I have changed nothing in the config file so I assume that means I was supposed to have? Could someone point me in the right direction here? Thanks! I have my config file attached if helpful.

Go to the configurator (ratos.local/configurator) click the
Actions
button on the right just below the top menu. Click "Symlink klipper extensions", go back to mainsail (ratos.local/) and click the power button, then click 🔄 next to click to restart the klipper process. Then you should be back in I ended up redoing everything from scratch reflashing etc and it's fine now, but that would have helped haha 🤣 thank you though
(this happens because you hard reset klipper through mainsail)
ah ok
But I was having a big issue with the configurator not recognizing the octopus 1.1
Even tho it flashed properly
And now my klipper screen doesn't work? Its stuck on a screen that says "Moonraker: connected klipper : disconnected"
I ended up only using the configurator to put the Wi-Fi network on and then went to ratos.local and did the vcore3 install macro and changed my config file manually
That seemed to work
But still nothing on the screen
The configurator looks for /dev/btt-octopus-11. If that's not present, klipper won't work either.
gotcha - well the printer seems to be running fine now, but the screen still shows "moonraker: connected klipper: disconnected" even though it's actively printing through the web interface.
and my mouse is not showing up on the screen either. I remember having to do something on the pi to fix that but i dont recall what... probably in an old thread somewhere
Not sure what's going on with this
It's a klipperscreen config option. Check the klipper screen docs 🙂
Hi mate. I am having the same issue and indeed, I hard reseted klipper through mainsail
Where do I get access to the configurator ?
Via mainsail or via terminal ? 🤔
ratos.local brings me to the same page as the printer's ip address
This what I have as well with the configurator :
Unparsed config option 'origin: https://github.com/Rat-OS/RatOS-configurator.git' detected in section [update_manager ratos-configurator]. This may be an option no longer available or could be the result of a module that failed to load. In the future this will result in a startup error.
I am going to do a full reflash too 😅
Please create a new post and attach your klipper and moonraker logs
