Game Launches Blank screen
I just installed heroic recently. I normally use PoL for my wine needs (but they unfortunately dont have any 64bit wine versions above 6.22)
Luckily I found heroic (flatpak) (yesterday) and now i'm trying to get it to work. (see #Installer wont launch? for previous troubles)
I have installed a game (
UFO Afterlight(gog) in both PoL and heroic, it works in PoL without any tweaking (so its running without DXVK or media foundation...) however in heroic both the intro video and the main menu are blank. the mouse cursor is rendering
heroic does display the game window smothly though, while PoL does about 8 both display screen refreshes to start the game (or any other)
for some reason the flatpak installed nvidia 470 drivers and removing those allowed the installer to work. this is probably related to the same flatpak gfx driver issue2 Replies

if u prefer a differant game for testing/initial config, just say and i will see if i have it
