Are these shoes sick or ugly?
I’m so bad at shoes y’all. This pair speaks to me from the perspective of someone who walks 3 miles to work, and I just like the look of it, but I’m kinda worried it’s actually ugly also. https://www.knickerbocker.nyc/products/kf101-hiker-shoe

I don't think they're ugly, just unique. It's definitely a very specific look being a low top heritage hiker. If that fits your style than go for it! They could be hard to incorporate into a wardrobe, though. I think that TikTok fashion guy just did a video on styling these.
I'd suggest looking at inspiration albums, vintage hiking and rugged ivy would be good sources to see how to style this type of shoe.
Actually that reel is pretty useless, really just an ad for the shoe so disregard that.
i feel like you could wear them the same way random japanese americana style people wear monkey boots
I think they're cool but only work with certain outfits, like you gotta lean into the hiker vibe or they'll look out of place
I’m leaning ugly. Silhouette could work but I reaaaally don’t like the greyish suede colorway
dark brown is cool
a boot or blucher moc alt is where its at with these
maybe even a paraboot alt but thats more about vibe than an actual replacement
so like flannel pants and fatigues
but also shorts and stuff
not really a biz caz shoe. wouldn't look good with a suit unless it was like..a a workwear suit or corduroy or something
Tough to wear in business casual I agree. Cool shoe for certain wardrobes though, I’d consider something like this if I was in the market.
Here’s the dark brown for anyone who doesn’t want to click 😀
No those are fire
And really in trend rn, Drake wears them I think
They definitely normally wouldn’t play business casual. They honestly might in Seattle because hikability trumps any other factor in Seattle style.
They are much better in dark brown.
I’m also kinda split on these. I like the idea in my head but I’m not quite sure what I’d wear them with.
Or if I’d rather look into a dressier pair of leather shoes
I’ve been looking at these Merrill 1TRLs that are similar
I like this color better but the silhouette of the original
