Use EssentialX's display name for nameplate, death messages, and advancement messages.
Using the /nick command from EssentialsX it is possible to change a player's name in chat. Various options in the Essentials config allow you to use this display name in the tablist and for player join/leave messages. What does not seem to be possible is to use the display name as:
1) the player nameplate
2) in death messages
3) in advancement messages
I've scoured the web for a complete solution to this but haven't found a full one. My reading suggests that the Placeholder API plugin may hold a solution, but I'm not clear on how to set this up.
Can anyone advise?
