I have paper 1.21.6 (world is transferred from paper 1.21.5)
For some reason death messages don’t show up, even when game rule showDeathMessages is set to true
I had plugin for custom death messages, but when I updated from 1.21 to 1.21.5 it stopped working, so I deleted it
