Legal obligation to refund the difference of a coupon code within refund period (Europe)

Good day everyone, Although I acknowledge this is not exactly a lawyer discord channel, I would ask if anyone had experience with this: I bought from a store named Cultizm. The day after my purchase, they announce a coupon code "SALE" that deducts an extra 20% off. Are they legally obligated to refund the difference if I had applied this coupon code? I haven't even received my order yet, so I could really just refund them upon arrival, apply the coupon code and buy them again (though that's a hassle).

They don’t have to, though cultizm is usually pretty nice when it comes to these things. Just shoot them an email if it’s possible to deduct that still and they probably will. Being friendly and non threatening usually goes a long way.

Thanks for the help 🙂 I contacted them and asked (politely) if it is feasible. I hope so, because I would rather prevent having to return an order just to reorder it 😛
