How to add to friends in heroic
i try to invite my friend to game , but i cant add epic games friends

Sadly, you can't manage friends from inside of Heroic. But you can install the Epic Games Overlay and turn it on inside games and add friends through there. Just follow the instructions in the pictures sent and then go ingame and press Shift and F3 at the same time and then do what you need to do

I remember seeing talk about some open source reimplementation of GOGs network system being looked into(This being the project: https://github.com/imLinguin/comet) but I haven't seen anything about it since then and I'm not a part of the dev team so I can only know so much :(. It would be nice though.

hi i am extrmely grateful , but EOS Overlay is stuck in downloading. I already waited for 5 hours i even stopped and started download again still stuck

Sad to say this seems to be a bug some people are experiencing and some are not. A patch for this should be coming in the next update though.

And click on "linux-appimage" which will include the fix in a updated appimage build of heroic. Keep in mind you do need to be signed into github to view this and I am unaware if the appimage will auto-update when a new version comes out so I would suggest only using this for the time being

FYI plan is to rewrite it in rust and be able to handle multiple connections at once

Be more specific, do you mean that you cannot see anything at all in the overlay, or just requests?

It means, I can see friends previously added, achievements and the not disturb setting. But not friends requests, and I can't search for people to add either
