RRL denim jacket, too short?
Hey all,
I’m interested in getting this rrl jacket (https://www.mrporter.com/en-us/mens/product/rrl/clothing/denim-jackets/denim-jacket/1647597315757240) and at 24” ish length it’s a tad shorter then my normal jacket length. Is this an ok look? In the pics, it makes it look like a longer shirt or sweater looks good. But also I worry it may look a bit fem, for lack of a better term.
For reference, I have a dad bod with stocky legs, usually wear a bomber jacket either leather or canvas when wearing a jacket. My style usually has a bit of funk in it, aloha shirt with many buttons open or a faux vintage sweater.
Thanks!

It a crop look. These repro models do that. My type 2 and 3 orslow stops at 24 length as well but they look fine.
This is kinda how older style denim jackets are "meant" to fit imo
It's a certain look though. I think it looks super cool when you lean into it
It works better with a slightly higher rise on trousers, so if you have loads of low rise trousers, it might look a bit off
What we nowadays would call slightly cropped, is what denim jackets used to look like! In my opinion it's a great looking jacket, e.g. the Lee Trucker Jacket is an iconic look!
