best suede jacket brands?
My friend and I were looking to buy a suede field, bomber, or trucker jacket. We wanted to know what's the best brand to buy one in the $400-500 price range. We wanted to get the softest and comfiest fit for rthis price.
We tried on some of the expensive ones and found that Loro Piana was really comfy, Tom Ford was great, RRL was OK, and Ralph Lauren didn't feel very soft.
It seems like the good ones are in the thousands and the $200 ones aren't good. So would love some recs of brands to checkout for suede jackets at the $500 price point

Your budget is too low imo.
second hand schott is probably going to be the best bang for your buck IMO
Okay thank you. They seem to have more biker/racer jackets which I don't like (don't like too many zippers). Are there other brands like that I should look for?
Or if we increased budget to $1k, what's good in that range?
Probably schott
PRL was a no go? It's right in your price range
Suede does break in, most jackets won't be super soft from the get go

Golden bear also does a lot of suede jackets but their online shop is pretty sparse lots of options on eBay if you like varsity jackets
Probably some other options as well. Is there a jacket style you like and want in a suede version?
I didn't know they did a suede one, that's gorgeous
Thank you I really like the baracuta one. I also liked the valstarino and this type of bomber:

I'll do some research on these ones. The schott one idk it just looks more rough than I want but I hear you that they'll become softer over time
