Trying to figure out right size for Uniqlo Airism oversized shirt
Not very familiar with oversized fits. According to sizing charts I should be wearing a large for my chest size but the medium seems to have a better fit but having a less oversized look.
I’m 5’11 with a 44 chest or something like that.
Picture on the left is medium and right is large. Looking back on it I should have picked different colours.

Go large brother
Dude I'm 5'11" with a 42 chest and I wear L/XL - you should be looking at XL/XXL imo
The L doesn't look bad but the shoulders are barely dropped - no matter what do not get the size M
I would go a size down. I normally wear an XL t shirt but with this shirt I had to go down to a L. I think smaller shirts are more in style right now
For whatever it’s worth I wear an M in these and I’m 5’10” 38 chest. Sometimes it feels a little too big but I’m convinced this is the “designer intended size “ for me because the hem hits exactly mid crotch where you’d expect. All of this is to say you should almost certainly get the L at least given how much bigger your chest is
Smaller shirts haven't been in for a WHILE, where you been my guy?
To be fair small T-shirt and big pant is not unpopular
Go on tik tok, you haven’t seen the trend of small shirts, big pants?
I went down a size because I just wanted a shirt that was a little oversized. No need to lean in that hard if you don’t want.
I think while this is valid, it would be weird to try to buy an oversized garment to try to wear it as a normal sized garment imo
I just did it because the XL Uniqlo shirts are too small for me, so my only option at Uniqlo is to wear their size L oversized shirts. Or wear the XXL or XXXL normal fit Uniqlo shirts which I believe they only sell online
Gotchu - this context makes sense
