Severed Steel doesn't work past the menu
The game's menu works fine, but after u select the campaign difficulty, it briefly has a loading screen and then just goes black, with nothing but the game's unique cursor (which u can still move).
I've tried waiting awhile, nothing happens.

Try installing the latest version of Wine-GE from the Wine Manager, selecting it in the Game Settings, and restarting the game
You're currently using Proton, which doesn't give a lot of log information & can't be modified as well as Wine (so even if we'd know what the problem is, you'd have to use Wine-GE to attempt a fix)

After using the latest version of Wine, the game appears to work now
I will get back to u if I have any more troubles, but until then, thx
